Game Review: Where the Wild Things Are

DISCLOSURE: THIS IS A KIDS GAME WITH BEAUTIFUL GRAPHICS, SERIOUS GAMERS PUT AWAY YOUR BEATING STICKS BEFORE READING

This game was surprisingly well done, no hardcore gamer is going to be raving about it, but for it’s intended audience it’s good. It’s your typical action adventure game for younger kids, it’s got some puzzle solving, fighting, a bit of a racing/boating, and in between levels in the village it gives you a basic sand box style to play in and do some more challenges. Visually it was nice, the game handled well for a kids game (it wasn’t too tight or very sluggish) at times the camera angles were difficult to see what you were trying to do. The story unfolds rather quickly, and moves pretty fast as well. the wilds things talk to max, but max says I think two lines in the entire game. Once you’ve beaten the game you can go back to replay any level to get any special items you’ve missed.
