The phenomenon that is “Stranger Things” seemingly came out of nowhere, taking pop culture by storm overnight, like a monster emerging from a seedy netherworld. The misadventures of Eleven and her cadre of compatriots was and still is water cooler fodder.
By now, the fate of Will Byers has been resolved, but there are other questions that still need answering. Will we see Barb again? What’s the nature of the relationship of Eleven to the monster from the upside-down? And perhaps most importantly, holy crap did you notice that Steve looks a hell of a lot like Jean-Ralphio from “Parks & Recreation?”
It didn’t take long for the internet to make the connection between the two characters and as fans are wont to do, people started coming up with their own theories. Both series are set in Indiana and since the events of “Stranger Things” take place in the eighties it makes sense that if there is any relation, Steve would be the elder.
Actors Joe Keery and Ben Schwartz visited the set of “The Late Show with James Corden” to set the record straight.
Now that that’s settled, we can get to the bottom of what Perd is doing in National City and whether or not that means Eleven may have ties to Krypton.
