For those of you who are not up to speed on the current happenings of this show, this article is laced with spoilers.

Set your fraking clocks and calendars, Friday, January 16th at 10 Eastern, 9 central on the SciFi channel.

The long wait is about to be over, the final episodes of the under appreciated show Battlestar Galactica, (or season 4.5 as it is being called) are about to come flying at us.  Because of the writers strike, it appears that the producers had delayed on making last year the final season of the show, I couldn’t be happier.

Last we saw of our Humans and Cylon friends, they had just arrived at Earth, or what they believe is Earth, a devastated, nuked out shell of a world.  The final cut out, everyone staring is disbelief, the culmination of all their struggles, all the death and destruction, only to end with a fractured, nearly destroyed planet, had many viewers on edge.  There is much guessing as to who exactly is the final Cylon to be revealed, the revelation that such favorites as Tigh, Tyrol, Anders and Foster were part of the final five had nearly knocked me unconscious.

If you are new to the show or missed a couple of episode, I highly suggest watching the full episodes online at Scifi.com, purchasing the first couple of seasons to wet your feet in this amazing drama, or rent it at a local video store.  I’ll be doing a review of the new episodes, so, keep your eyes peeled for an update after the show airs.
