If you’re half as lazy as I am about upgrading your equipment, you’ll be happy to hear there’s someone that wants to help.
This January I finally got an HD tv as a wedding gift. In June I switched to DirecTV. July I switched my settings on my Xbox and DirecTV to utilize the 1080p (up until this point I hadn’t utilized any of the advantages of my tv or electronics. I was still operating in Standard Definition). As of last week, I finally upgraded my Xbox cables to HDMI.
I really didn’t think doing any of this would make a difference. Probably a big part of the reason it took me six months to even try. Boy was I wrong. Especially when it comes to playing on my Xbox. Seeing all the minute details of the Proton Pack in Ghostbusters. Or the casings from my Battle Rifle in Halo 3.
Another advantage is having less stuff hanging off your tv. I replaced seven hanging plugs from my Xbox cable with one sleek HDMI cable.
Probably the best part was who I got the cables from, HDMI Cables. They had the best deal I could find, and they were really easy to work with. Great product, good price and fast shipping. What more could you want? Upgrade your cables already!
