Yesterday in a surprise conference held in L.A. Microsoft reveled the Surface. A brand new tablet with a cost “similar to the Ultrabook”. Surface does everything I’d hoped for in a Windows 8 tablet, expandable memory via Micro SD, HDMI out, USB 2.0 port. The tablet will also have a smart-cover style attachment that doubles as a full touch keyboard and trackpad for those who don’t want to give up their laptop functionality. Touting a 10.6″ display and powered by an ARM processor, this 9.33mm wonder looks to have everything a Windows user could want in a portable device. Be sure to watch the promo video released yesterday and check back as we look for more information. This isn’t the only Windows 8 tablet that will be available on market, but chances are it may be the sleekest.
