I’ve been a photography enthusiast for years, my dad had a nice camera when I was a kid and it always interested me. In high school I took photography and learned all about film and developing, and in college digital photography was king so I learned about that. The thing is in all this time I never learned a hell of a lot about lenses. The market is flooded with them and they come in tons of price points but its really hard to figure out which lens I want and if its worth forking out the cash. Enter Lenshero.com where I can enter in my Camera, my price point and what kind of shooting I want my new lens to work best for. It spits out a list with 8 ratings telling me what the lens is good for and how it rates for each, and I can go deeper and get a full page about lens distortion, pros and cons and pretty much all the info you’d need before going down and getting hands on with one (I can’t make a purchase that big without actually holding a product) . If you’re like me and curious about the massive amount of lenses out there give it a look.
