Disney and Lucasfilm released this brand new short film to help get us excited for “Star Wars: Rebels.” The first of four shorts, “The Machine in the Ghost” gives us a lot to love. It’s basically a dogfight, cribbing shots and sounds right from the escape from the Death Star in “Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope.”
Some have asked if this was in the pilot episode and my answer is no. This is original and being used for this.
Between this, the premiere, and the book “A New Dawn,” I am frothing at the mouth to see these stories unfold.

Star Wars Rebels continues the epic tradition of the legendary Star Wars saga with all-new exciting, action-packed adventures. “Star Wars: Rebels” premieres in October on Disney Channel and Disney XD.
