Everyone’s favorite Bounty Hunter, Boba Fett, is back in the Star Wars mythos again, this time on the animated Clone Wars.
Daniel Logan, who played Boba Fett in Attack of the Clones is reprising the role for the cartoon. According to the latest USA Today article, Boba Fett is a revenge-bent teenager leading a motley crew of Bounty Hunters.
The Jedi killed his father, I’m sure they’re going to be gunning for Mace Windu and crew.
Daniel Logan broke the news on his twitter account and confirmed that the return of Boba Fett will take place April 23rd. It’s still a month away, but I’m sure it will be incredible.
This is all good news, but it makes me wonder about some news that I’d reported previous. Back at Dragon*Con Steve Sansweet dropped some news about the Live Action series and mentioned that Daniel’s people might have an announcement soon. I’m still hopeful for that idea, since he was clearly talking about the Live Action show, but could he have been confused by the question and thought he was talking about Clone Wars? The quote seems pretty definitive, but you never know.
Only time will tell.
