The Geek Show Podcast: A Geek Must Listen!

There were a few articles posted a month or so ago mentioning this podcast, but they are now 9 episodes in and I feel it’s time to do an official, full blown post about this. Ladies and Gentlemen, I would like to introduce you to (if you’re not already a faithful listener):

Geek Show

The Geek Show is a must listen for all of us who love all things nerd and geek and is made up of a great and entertaining panel including:

Marcus from Last Comic Standing was even a guest panelist for a few episodes in July who provided some great comedy and commentary to the show.

The show runs smoothly with Kerry Jackson at the helm and all the panelists always have something relevant to add to the topic at hand. A show like this is usually hit and miss, but with a panel who is not only in the business of TV, Comics, & Movies, but are just huge geeks about their own particular subjects, the show flows nicely and always stays interesting, entertaining, and informative; I have not once in 9 episodes listened to one of the podcasts and been bored and they have covered everything from The Hulk, Iron Man, and the Dark Knight to Comic Books, Star Wars, and Star Trek. The great thing about this show is that none of the panelists hold themselves at a higher regard than their listeners, it really just seems like a bunch of friends hanging out in the basement, throwing back a few cocktails and beers and talking geek, so much so that at times you almost want to interject on a topic before you realize you are only listening to the podcast and aren’t actually sitting at a table with the whole crew.

The bottom line is that Kerry, Scott, Derek, Shannon, and Jeff are all funny guys, great to listen to, and they know their nerd/geek stuff, if you consider yourself a geek or a nerd, you should really be listening to this podcast, and let’s face it, any geek podcast that starts off by providing you with a new cocktail recipe each show is bound to be damn good.

A new Geek Show is generally released every Monday and you can find it on iTunes or at their official website.
