Last night at the beginning of the Dark Knight Rises a gunman released chemical cannisters into a crowd of theater goers before opening fire in the auditorium. Currently 12 are reported dead, with 50 wounded. Victims are being treated at multiple hospitals and injuries have been reported as young as 4 months old. The shooter suspected to be James Holmes by federal agents, was reported by eye witness accounts to have thrown the cannisters into the crowd 20 or 30 minutes into the film. A hissing sound was heard, and Holmes then began walking up the theater stairs shooting at random.
