We PlayStation3 Skyrim gamers had really been feeling left out on all the DLC goodness, so it was quite exciting to learn that Pete Hines, Vice President of Bethesda, has just announced that the long awaited expansions will be hitting the Playstation Network throughout the month of February and at very reasonable pricing too. On Twitter he said:
Dragonborn confirmed for 2/12 release in N. America. Hearthfire on 2/19. Dawnguard on 2/26. Still waiting on dates for Europe … Reg. price is $20 for DB and DG, $5 for HF. First week of release, each will be 50% off. So $10 for DB/DG and $2.50 for HF.
The PlayStation version of Skyrim has been rife with problems since launch date, so many believed it would never get this content that has already been released for Xbox and PC (with Dragonborn due there in a few days). Fingers crossed all goes smoothly and Bethesda not only sticks to this launch schedule, but that the expansions will be free of any issues.
