The BSR team attended the Metal Gear Solid 25th anniversary party at the Hard Rock Cafe in the heart of downtown Seattle last night. Hideo Kojima was in attendance celebrating his opus, ‘Metal Gear Solid’. It was announced over the weekend, that Marvel and Columbia studios has a Metal Gear movie in the works AND the M.G. game that the fandom has been waiting for ‘Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeros’ was finally unveiled. The demo of open world game uses Kojima Productions new FOX engine and through now deleted tweets of people that were at the panel, said demo looked ‘Amazing’.
At the party, the crowd and the Konami crew sang a chorus of ‘Happy Anniversary’ to Kojima and right after he had his secretary translate a ‘thank you’ to everyone in attendance.
‘I am 49 years old. I have been making video games for 25 years. This is the only cake that I do not want to eat.’
