Google placed their Holiday doodle today celebrating love.
The video teaches you how to find that perfect gift for that special someone.
Of course showing the most important thing, find them something they love. The poor dejected guy heads back and forth to find the perfect item, eventually the couple finds themselves jump-roping together. This is one of the reasons that Google is the top engine, the personalized feel the engine has, and the amount of fun it adds to our lives, they could simply present us with a blank page with a data field, but they take the extra moment to add cuteness, or some form of joy into our day.
Interestingly enough the final image shows couples of all kinds, cookies and milk, cats and dogs living together (probably with mass hysteria), husband and wife, astronauts and aliens, it also has two men holding hands.
The final item I mentioned either shows how open minded Google is, or that they simply don’t care. Without getting too political, I think it’s great, everyone should enjoy Valentines Day, even two well dressed cartoon gentlemen on a Google page.
