Celine Dion’s Heart Will Go On . . . In “The Muppets . . . Again!”

Canadian songstress Celine Dion, perhaps famously (or infamously) best known for the most ubiquitous song of the late 1990’s—“My Heart Will Go On” from Titanic—will be singing a song for the soundtrack for the upcoming film The Muppets . . . Again!

The song is titled “Something So Right,” and it will likely be played over the end credits, as Dion’s songs usually are. She also sang the pop version of “Beauty and the Beast” over that film’s credits after Angela’ Lansbury sang the song in the film.  And, her songs are usually love songs, so will the lyrics say something about Kermit and Miss Piggy’s relationship?  Right now, we can only guess.

Dion is also expected to appear in a cameo in the Muppets sequel.

This is not her first joint venture with the Muppets. She sang “Happy to Meet You” on the 1998 album Elmopalooza, and Miss Piggy appeared with the singer on the British special “An Audience with Celine Dion.”

Dion is also currently working on her 25th studio album, currently titled Water and Flame.

The Muppets . . . Again! starring Ricky Gervais debuts in theaters March 21, 2014.
