Warner Bros. announced today the title for the sequel to Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald continues the adventures of Eddie Redmayne as beastmaster Newt Scamander and adds Jude Law as a younger version of Albus Dumbledore.
David Yates returns as director to the franchise after helming the final four Harry Potter films as well as the first Fantastic Beasts. The spinoff series is set to span five films.
Johnny Depp, who appeared briefly at the end of Fantastic Beasts, returns as Gellert Grindelwald. Rounding out the cast is Katherine Waterston (Tina), Alison Sudol (Queenie), Dan Fogler (Jacob), Ezra Miller (Credence), and Zoë Kravitz (Leta Lestrange).

The plot, still set in the 1920’s, follows Newt as he tries to capture the dark wizard Grindelwald.
The film will release exactly a year from today—November 16, 2018.
