All in all this wasn’t a terribly surprising year in just about any category. Though I know Dr. Cyborg is livid by the awarding of Best Director to a woman. (He remarked, “I don’t know whether I should send hate mail or my dirty laundry.) I thought Tarantino would have been able to take it, but I think the Academy is going to continue their long history of snubbing him.
And I knew I needed to see the Hurt Locker before, but now I REALLY need to see it.
