According to Variety, sources have confrimed that Josh Brolin was cast to play the large than life villian Thanos in Marvel’s upcoming “Guardians of The Galaxy” and possibly both yet to be released “The Avengers” sequels. Dispelling the rumor that Arnold Schwarzenegger will play Thanos, Josh Brolin of “No Country for Old Men”, “True Grit” and more recently “Gangster Squad” certainly has the talent, stature and the voice for the character of Thanos. With his past role in “Men in Black 3” it’s clear he’s a perfect fit for adventure Sci-Fi movies as well.
