Way back July I did an interview with Eric Reedy of Madcap Studios and he mentioned HTML5. After researching it I really felt that somebody would take it and apply it to iDevices to support flash. I’m happy to say that Skyfire will be in the iTunes app Store on Thursday 11/04/2010 for $2.99. This could be a big deal for fans of digital comics if you can access a digital subscription from Marvel or Archie comics on an iPad. I haven’t used the app yet but I’m crossing my fingers, despite the possibility of the online comic viewers being blocked because of comic book app purchases.
