T-T with Dr.C! or, Golfing with Machines! A Review of Ultimate Wolverine Vs. Hulk!

This is another addition of Tee Time with Doctor Cyborg. In which I take time out of my busy golf schedule and talk to you while I am golfing. So jump in the passenger seat of my golf cart and pour your self a Golf Cocktail (2 – 3 oz. Gin, 3/4 oz. Dry Vermouth, 2 dash Bitters, Combine in a mixing glass or shaker. Stir with ice and strain into chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a blade of grass from the 18th green ‘optional’) Let’s go.

Today we talk about the first issue of Ultimate Wolverine Vs. Hulk. It is the first part of an series that is being re-released In honor I suppose of the new cartoon that was put out.

Fore!

Written by one of the minds that brings you Hurley every week, Damon Lindelof.

This is the first time I’ve read this, but after reading the first issue I feel like I’ve been missing out. It starts out with bang, which is a good thing for a comic book to do, fore! it keeps your attention throughout the series I find. After some of the ruff stuff there is a bit of set-up, but it was written well and entertaining. I particularly liked how they painted the Wolverine as a heartless killer who followed his nose more than Toucan Sam. I like my Wolverines to be killers, because it reinforces a stereotype. A stereotype that could save your child’s life if she ever finds herself in a wolverine den.

There wasn’t really that much to this issue more than setting it up so you wanted to read more of them. Which I now do, so mission accomplished. The art in the book was good, and I want to read more. Who could ask for anything more

Hole in one!
