Annyong, everyone. My name is Alex “Boombot” Getts, and I run Superhero of the Month, a site that’s been featured on Big Shiny Robot! several times, and with whom we partnered with for our Superhero of the Year contest in December. The rest of the ‘bots here were kind enough to offer me a spot on the crew to share updates on Superhero of the Month from time to time, promoting superhero costume design and art by artists from around the world.
This month, we’ll be redesigning Batman Movie Villains — the twist is designing villains that were used by one director (Burton, Schumacher and Nolan) and reinterpreting them for a non-existent film by one of the said directors. We’re also accepting Stephanie Brown fan art, since she’s seemingly been all but forgotten in the New 52.
