Peter Bagge is one of my all time favorite comic creators. I highly recommend his series Hate Comics, collected in two volumes: Buddy Does Seattle and Buddy Does Jersey. He even has a pretty kick-ass issue he wrote for Marvel titled Megalomanical Spider-Man.

Other Lives is (from what I understand) his first venture in the world of Graphic Novels. The story revolves around three nerds: an under confident journalist, a conspiracy theorist, and an MMORPG geek. As the title might suggest, this Graphic Novel is all about these characters and their “other lives”. Some figurative, and some digital (in the form of Second Life).

Although I really enjoyed this book, I don’t feel its nearly as strong as his Hate comics series. But, its definitely worth a read. If you’d like to check out some preview pages, click here.
