The sleeper hit “Moon Knight” from Marvel comics is having a creative team switch out. The team that started the series out, writer Warren Ellis and artist Declan Shalvey, knew they were only going to be on the series for six issues but they set a great precedent for what is coming next. Declan Shalvey will continue to produce some covers for the series and Jordie Bellaire will continue on colors so the books will feel the same tonally. Brian Wood, who has a flair for serious toned books should be great as the writer taking over Ellis.
From the images included with the official press release from Marvel Entertainment, the book isn’t going to miss a beat. That’s great news for anyone who fell in love with the first six issues. They can keep the book in their pull list and expect the same high octane insanity they have been happy to get the last few months from Ellis and Shalvey. Follow past the solicit for the official press release and the amazing preview pages.
