Aintitcool News is reporting that Matthew Vaughn (the director of Stardust and Layercake) is hard at work on the film adaptation of Mark Millar and John Romita Jr.’s “Kick-Ass”.
This could be good. I enjoyed Stardust a lot. I never saw Layercake. Vaughn has also been tapped to direct the big screen adaptation of Thor. He seems competent enough for these projects, so let’s wait and see.
As for the next Millar adaptation, I don’t even think I’m going to see Wanted. I think it looks really fucking stupid. That being said, Kick-Ass could be great.
