Next month will see a new semester begun at the Jean Grey School for mutants in “Wolverine and the X-Men” #1.
Wolverine, Storm, and Quentin Quire (Kid Omega) have taken over the helm and are guiding the next generation of mutants.
Marvel promises a challenge the likes of which we haven’t yet seen, stating in no uncertain terms that the X-Men won’t be ready for what they are about to face. It’s difficult to imagine a scenario that Wolverine couldn’t handle, even without any preperation so I’m interested to see what Marvel has planned.
The book is being written by Jason Latour with art by Mahmud Asrar. Issue #1 hit’s shelves March fifth, but you don’t have to wait until then to get a taste. Marvel has released a handful of images that you can see… right now.
