Comic Pulls 4/30

Alright meat bag bitches. This week in comics is all over the board. First, we’ll start with the staple comics. Robert Kirkman’s run on Ultimate X-Men #93 wraps up this week. A synthetic salty tear will drip down my metal shiny cheeks. Will Apocalypse obliterate the world as we know it? Probably not. The more pressing question: Will Wolverine regain his healing factor?

Second up to complete the saddle stitch of my nerd hood this week: New Avengers #40. The most recent issue of The Mighty Avengers (also a Skrull Invasion tie-in) was awesome. It showed us where Nick Fury has been since the Secret War. As well as who he’s been banging. With how closely these two titles have related to one another, I’m sure this will be a great tie-in as well.

And now for two titles from under the radar. Dave Sim’s Glamourpuss debuts this week. Most of you will know Dave from his series Cerebus. For more information on the book, you can read a web chat with Dave here.

The second B-2 Stealth Bomber is XXXombies #4. For those of you who don’t like zombie stories or adult movies, go to hell. For the others that love both, you’re in luck! This mini-series is about a group of people filming a porn (who woulda thought?) and a zombie outbreak occurs. Although its R-rated, there isn’t a lot of sex involved. And as a robot, gruesome meat bag violence over sexual encounters is fine by me.

An ass kicking page out of XXXombies.
