COMIC-CON: Twilight Fan Dies Saving Spot in Line

Well, a couple of years ago someone got a pen in the eye for taking a spot in line, it was only a matter of time before a worse tragedy befell the San Diego Comic-Con.

A woman waiting who has been camped out waiting in line for the Twilight presentation in Hall H was across the street this morning when she noticed they were moving her spot in line to under the tents. She raced across the street, tripped, and was run over by a vehicle.

She was pronounced dead at the hospital.

According to The Examiner, the woman in question was named Gisella G. and known as @Mad4hugh on twitter.

As of the last report, the area is closed off and Twilight fans are urging for a moment of silence during the Twilight presentation in Hall H.

I know everyone else is going to say it when they write about this, but let me reiterate: Nothing is worth dying for at Comic-Con. Don’t stress out about places in line. With the exception of the pen stabbing incident, people are cool at Comic-Con. No one wants you hurt.
