Full Spoilers for Batman #35 ahead.
Bat fans know that this year is the 75th anniversary of The Dark Knight and it’s been a great year for the comics but one major villain has been missing from the detectives rouge gallery. The Joker hasn’t been seen in any DC Comics’ since “Death of the Family” in 2012 written by Scott Snyder featuring art by Greg Capullo. The Joker attempted to get rid of the entire Bat Family claiming they made Batman weak and the last time we see him was falling over the side of a waterfall at the end of the story arc.
Fast forward to Batman #35 “Endgame” the start of a six-part storyline; in the issue Batman is fighting members of the Justice League who seem out of their minds. On the last page they all start laughing uncontrollably and we see this.
Superman sporting the signature smile of the Joker! That’s right the Clown Prince of Crime is back and somehow is in control of The Justice League who are targeting Batman. The rest of Joker’s plan hasn’t been revealed yet but Batman vs The Justice League is always a recipe for awesome.
