Just. . .just watch this:
You’ll remember we got a pretty awesome teaser trailer back in January, but this one really takes it to the next level.
We finally see Corey Stoll (House of Cards, Non Stop) as Yellowjacket, and Evangeline Lillly (Lost, The Hobbit) as Hope Van Dyne. For those of us who think this means a possible introduction of The Wasp into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, there’s some “hope” here, especially after that scene where Evangeline Lilly is showing Paul Rudd how to punch.
Rudd is on full display here with his comic timing and sense of fun that is going to be key to selling “Ant-Man” to mainstream audiences. But we also see some of his heroism and a darker side as well, meaning this will hopefully not just be a straight camp adaptation.
But then, speaking of camp and silliness. . .that train. Seriously, did you see that train?!?!
Marvel has been knocking them out of the park recently. We hope you all binge-watched “Daredevil” this weekend. Age of Ultron comes out at the end of the month, and we’ll have reviews for you likely the evening of March 27th. And Ant-Man hits screens July 17. Can’t wait.
