Telltale games announced yesterday via The Telltale Blog and Twitter, that the first episode of “The Walking Dead” will be available on iOS starting Thursday, July 26 (tomorrow) for $4.99. Even if you’ve already played this on consoles, or PC. It’s still worth spending $4.99 to try it with a new experience, and on the go! In their official announcement Telltale also said that Episode 2 is being touched up rapidly for release as soon as possible. The game will run on the following devices. iPhone 4, iPhone 4s, The New iPad, iPad 2, and 4th gen iPod touches and above. The screen shots look quite crisp, and the control interface should be perfectly polished. Players will also gain full control of Lee Everett during exploration sequences. This will be a universal app so one purchase will spread it across all of your devices ( no stressing about buying one for your iPhone and one for your iPad ). The big hope from here on out is that the games will begin releasing the iOS version right alongside their console and PC counterparts, so that we can simply pick our platform and stick to it. I’ll be replaying this for iPad for sure, and getting you good internet folks a review as soon as possible. Let us know, will you be jumping on board?
