For the sake of everything you love, stay at least a Galaxy far, far away from Fantasy Flight’s X-Wing game. The game is packaged with a rare strain of X-Wing Fever, side-effects of which include stat-crunching, incoherent raging about “nuking Skywalker”, and an anemic wallet.
For those of you unwilling to heed my well-intentioned advice, you should be aware that more ships are on the horizon, four to be exact. Fantasy Flight Games will be unveiling these ships at their May Star Wars Game Experience.
Speculation on what these ships will be is running pretty high. The B-Wing and TIE Bomber are widely considered a lock, but what about the other two ships? Will FFG be expanding into a new, neutral faction, or will larger Capitol ships be making an appearance? More important still, will I be able to stop making “mrrrooooooooaaaaawwww” sounds every time I bank past an opponent with my TIE fighter?
Fantasy Flight Game’s Star Wars Game Experience is running May 3rd through 5th, we’ll post more info on the event as we get it!
