I’ve been playing the “Destiny” beta since its release on the PS4 last week, and I can tell you that it’s easily one of the best games I have ever played – and I’m saying this about a game that is essentially still in its demo phase. The emotions and feelings it evoked in me are the same as when I played “Halo” for the first time and got to stroll around The Citadel in “Mass Effect”. If a beta is game-of-the-year quality, I can barely imagine what the full game will be like.
The good news for everyone who hasn’t had a chance to check it out yet (or didn’t feel like preordering it) is that the beta is now open to the public and can be downloaded on the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One, so you should probably go and grab it right now!
One last thing, don’t forget that everyone playing this Saturday, the 26, at 3 PM MDT will get an exclusive in-game item that will transfer over to the full version when it is released this fall.
