According to our Overlord’s official twitter account, Castiel will be around for the show’s ninth season. This is amazing news for fans of the angel, as his life expectancy has always had a bit of a of Ross-n-Rachel vibe.
No word on whether he will be an “official” regular – although his tweet would certainly suggest it – or will remain a special guest star. Regardless, I am happy for his return and am hopeful for a more consistent use of the character.
