Jorge Garcia was the first person cast on co-creator J. J. Abrams hit show Lost, well it seems this duo is happening again. J. J. Abrams is executive producing a new show on FOX called Alcatraz. Alcatraz is co-created by writer-producer Elizabeth Sarnoff who wrote many of the episodes in the later seasons of Lost as well as some very good episodes of Deadwood.
Alcatraz is going to be about a group of inmates and guards who mysteriously disappeared 30 years ago who suddenly reappear in present day. Garcia will be playing the role of Dr. Diego Soto a hippy geek that is the world’s most famous expert on the island of Alcatraz.
