Flying Cars. It’s about fucking time. We’ve all been waiting for something like this probably our entire lives. There have been small steps before; planes with big, unweildy, detachable wings, but now we have a completely self-contained flying car. The Terrafugia Transition…..They might need to work on the name. All the parts are on the vehicle and the wings fold up allowing you to drive it like a normal car and park it in your garage. Its runs on normal unleaded fuel and has a 100bhp engine. So far its has only been road tested up to about 90 mph but its first test flight is scheduled for next month and if all goes well it should hit showroom floors around the end of 2010.
