Apple Press Event Is Apple Users Only

Apple is hosting a special announcement today at 11 am PST. The rumor of course is a refresh on their MacBook line as well as some new iPads. Those planning to watch the event live this morning are required to do so from Safari 4 on OSX 10.6 or later, Safari 4.2 on iOS 4.2 or later, or a second or third generation Apple TV. Want to watch the event from an older MacBook or a PC? Sorry kids, you’re just not cool enough to get in. You’ll have to read your information from sites that aren’t brand specific like us here at Big Shiny Robot! This is yet another way Apple is forcing their customers to upgrade even if they choose not to, it’s bad enough that iTunes requires a minimum OSX, that won’t run on older MacBooks, but they have their consumers best interest in mind right? If you are running the minimum requirements you can catch the event HERE.
