Blizzard Announces ‘Overwatch’

 

 

During BLIZZCON proceedings yesterday, Blizz dropped a pretty impressive bomb on the community. The company will be releasing an FPS experience similar to Team Fortress called “Overwatch”. The characters in game are set to match the “diversity of Blizzards fans”. You can register for the BETA HERE. This will be nothing short of incredible seeing that Blizzard has knocked every release over the past ten years out of the park. Trailer below.

This might be the greatest thing to hit the internet since that pixelated, dancing banana. You haven’t lived until you’ve listened to “Leap of Faith” at full volume. When this video hits 88 mph you’re gonna see some serious shit. Check it out!

Xbox One Temporary Price Cut

Microsoft announced via the Xbox Wire this morning, that the Xbox One and all available Holiday bundles will be $50.00 less from Nov. 2 – Jan 3. This special includes all available bundles with and without a game, making the “Sunset Overdrive” bundle and the “Assassin’s Creed Bundle” one of the best gaming values around. 

If you have been avoiding jumping into the Xbox this is a great opportunity to do so. You have two month starting Nov. 2 2014. Jump on early and avoid the Holiday Crazy. You can grab these bundles at all major retailers including: Amazon, Best Buy GameStop and more!

Girl-Power PlayStation Flash Sale

Sony just put a ton of female-centric games and movies on sale for some pretty amazing prices, so if you haven’t checked them out before, now is the perfect time! ‘Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’ Trailer

 

The next generation of the “Call of Duty” franchise is getting ready to launch. Advanced Warfare is bringing a lot to the table and is aiming to be the upgrade to the franchise that fans have been waiting for. While the EXO suits look a lot like “Titanfall”, they definitely won’t be the main focus of the combat. The game releases 11.04.2014 trailer below.

 

‘Gauntlet’ Hit Steam Today

 

Warner Bros. Games and Arrowhead have rebuilt the classic dungeon crawler “Gauntlet”. It released digitally on Steam today. Remember that shooting the food is a bad thing. DONT SHOOT THE FOOD! It is available for a scant $19.99, check out the launch trailer below:

Tokyo Game Show has wrapped up for 2014 and who knows where you were. Maybe you were one of the lucky that flew to Japan to check it out. Showing Borderlands unique sense of humor, the pre-sequel which is “a made-up word” combing prequel and sequel takes you to Elpis, where you will most likely die, but it will still be totally awesome! Mr. Torque and Sir Hammerlock are awesome, for realsies.
