Pokemon.com, announced that the new Pokemon movie: “Pokemon: Genesect, XY” will premiere on Cartoon Network, October 19^th In the United States, With two episodes of the newest season to follow after its showing.

This fall, Ash, Pikachu, and friends go on their latest cinematic adventure in Pokémon the Movie: Genesect and the Legend Awakened! The movie centers on a group of Genesect who are running rampant in a bustling city and have attracted the attention of the Legendary Pokémon Mewtwo. But when these Pokémon turn on each other, our heroes must stop them all before they destroy the city!

Nintendo announced today they will be releasing to Pokemon X and Y themed 3DS XLs on September 27, 2013. Initially rumored to be a gold model, the U.S. will be receiving a blue and red model while the gold will be exclusive to Japan. The systems will cost $199.99 and will not include Pokemon, they wouldn’t let you catch ’em all early folks! Is it time to finally upgrade that first gen 3DS?
