A new gameplay trailer for “Mortal Kombat X: Kombat Pack 2” has it the interwebz. This new pack, featuring Bo’ Rai Cho, Xenomorph, Leatherface and Triborg (who looks to be Sektor, Cyrax and, Smoke depending on style), gives us insight into the new crew. I wasn’t 100% convinced about this pack, but the trailer has done a lot to change my mind. When Triborg was first announced as a “Cyborg entrant” I wasn’t sure what to think. However, having access to the three previous cyborgs, sounds pretty great. Sound off below!

WB Games will be announcing new characters later tonight, but, according to Shoryuken.com WB Games Australia dropped the reveal trailer in what is now a private YouTube video. The video shows Leatherface from “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre” a Xenomorph from “Alien”, Bo Rai Cho from earlier “Mortal Kombat” games, and a cyborg hybrid of Sektor, Cyrax and Smoke which will join the cast next year. 

The exact dates haven’t been mentioned yet but this will be part of the second Kombat Pack released periodically throughout next year.

After the “Injustice: Gods Among Us” top 8 Ed Boon announced that Raiden will indeed join the cast for the new Mortal Kombat. The thunder god is featured in the reveal video battling Kotal Kahn. His flying press is returning as well as multiple electrocuting moves. The trailer shows all three of Raidens variants as well as his fatality, you can check it out below.

Maximillian recently posted a hands on video for the new “Mortal Kombat X” which was shown for next gen at this year’s E3 conference. During the video he spends a good amount of time discussing the combat system, run combos, the utilization of the block button and much more. His biggest discovery is the unique way in which the game utilizes meter to regulate run combos and “combo breakers”. 

“You’re not going to see a lot of crazy level transitions, but, the game does seem to be a cross up of Injustice and MK9.”
