Well, they finally did it. I’ve been saying this since the last election and it looks like now, finally, the usual gang of idiots finally has a website where they’ll be posting on a (hopefully) regular basis. And I only know because they sent me an email with the subject line “MAD Magazine Posts Photo of Weiner on Internet”
MAD Magazine Editor John Ficarra had this to say about the magazine’s historic launch: “Most blogs are written by ill-informed, untalented blowhards. Given those standards, it’s a perfect vehicle for us!”
Apparently, it’s been live for the month of June and I just hadn’t noticed, yet. Going through their short backlog of four posts had me chuckling.

After a short hiatus – that we here and BSR can only assume was gay porn-related – the boys from Laser Brain are back with a brand new, just as awful episode! We know you’re jonesin’, so here you go!
Laser Brain Podcast – 04/13/11
In this episode Tristan tells the tales of his privates and battle with stinky skin!
I caught this over at ClubJade.Net and I would be remiss if I didn’t share it with you.
Simon Pegg and Nick Frost recreating a classic scene from Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope. This makes me twice as excited to see Paul tonight.
It’s no secret that Simon Pegg is at least half a huge Star Wars fan as his twitter feed indicates he only likes half of the movies. We’ll have more Paul coverage this week as well, since I was able to interview the cast at Comic-Con last year and we’ll finally dust that all off.
Here it is folks! A brand dick-spanking new episode of Laser Brain! This is actually episode 15 – and, no, episode 14 wasn’t skipped, it’s that episode 13 was actually episode 14 because the boys from Laser Brain are superstitious and “skipped” episode 13. In my ignorance I labeled the last episode incorrectly, I’m sure I’ll have to pay my penance in some sort of homo-erotic fashion. . .
Anyways, if you missed out on “episode 14” I suggest you go back and listend to it prior to listening to this latest episode. I have thoroughly enjoyed every episode of Laser Brain thus far, but I can honestly say these last two are far and away my favorites with the reading of Nick’s old love letters. I shit you not when I say this episode almost made me cause a car accident as I was listening to it on my way to work – I was laughing so hard my eyes were tearing up.
Enjoy the latest Laser Brain in which the saga of Nick’s relationship via love letters is wrapped up!
Every week for about 2 1/2 years the fellows from the Geek Show Podcast have been bringing you an excellent, hilarious, geeky hour of geekiness every week. For almost two of those years, I have been producing a video version of their show for Xfinity’s Utah On Demand system. Their licensing agreement was such that the content was exclusive to them, but we’ve since worked it so that it is only a window of exclusivity and now we’ll be getting the show every week on the internet.
Be sure to check out their website and subscribe to their podcast. The show’s regular panelists includes Kerry Jackson, host of X96′s Radio From Hell, Leigh George Kade from Grimmleigh’s Fiends, Shannon Barnson, my co-host at the Pub Quiz, Jeff Vice and Jimmy Martin from the Big Movie Mouth-Off, and Scott Pierce, television critic for The Salt Lake Tribune.
The Geek Show will be putting the video up on their website, and we’ll be putting it up here as well.
It’s that time of the week again! Time to take all of your morals and common decency and run them through the shredder, because it’s time for a new Laser Brain podcast!
The boys of Laser Brain are back with a brand new episode for all of you out there! They actually made this one just for you – yes, you. They told me . . . Don’t be weirded out about it, just go with it, it’s a gift. As always, this episode is most certainly NSFW. You may want to consider just always listening to this podcast in your headphones, this way you’ll avoid people finding out how awful of a person you are for laughing at these guys.
Laser Brain Episode 12
In this episode your three favorite roommates get naked, scary, and punny!
I spend a lot of time staring at flow charts in my day-to-day job, so it was only natural that I found this appealing. The good folks over at onlineschools.org posted this flow chart to help you find your true job-path in the Star Wars universe.
Oddly enough “Ewok Chief” is the best fit for me. Actually, it’s not that odd of a fit for me.
