It looks like I picked the wrong day to quit amphetamines.

Leslie Nielsen, one of the funniest men on the planet, responsible for the Police Squad tv show and the Naked Gun films (and lesser, more terrible films like Dracula: Dead and Loving It and Spy Hard) and an indispensable part of the Airplane films, died today at the age of 84, single-handedly decreasing the comedy-quotient of the entire planet a point or two.

He was a true original. He will be missed.
