Swank, Prolateria, Arse, Pencil, and the good Dr. all headed out to Utah’s newest club/bar, Gracie’s, last night to hang out and chat it up with some of the good folks over at In Utah This Week.
Gracie’s recently snatched up one of Utah’s last liquor licenses to open its doors several weeks ago and is owned by the people who once operated the infamous Port O’ Call. This place is a great little bar located where the now-closed “Club Naked” once was. They have pretty much anything you need to curb your liquor, cocktail, and beer cravings as well as a delicious -and pretty well-priced- menu. Prolateria and Arse can personally vouch for the Garden-Ox Burger, Blackened Salmon Sandwich, Spinach Salad, wings, and fries (both traditional and sweet potato). With plenty of outdoor seating on their two level patio, Gracie’s seems like it’s going to be a great place for drinking and chowing down on those great summer nights. Be sure to check this place out.
Us bots went to check out the place last night and to visit with some of the great staff from In Utah This Week for their ‘IN GOES OUT’ night. If you have yet to check out the IN publication, I highly recommend you pick one up. It’s a great read and has a solid staff behind it. We spent a couple hours eating, drinking, and waxing philosophical and had a great time doing so. If there is one thing us robots here at BSR! love to do, it’s to get out and drink and mingle with friends old and new… we’re especially good at the drinking part.
Show some love to the great people behind In Utah This Week by checking out their great, interactive site and picking up a copy of their publication!
Many of the BSR! crew will be out and about again at the end of the month for the always great Geek Show Podcast Free Movie Night at Brewvies! On Sunday, June 28 at 5pm there will be a double feature showing of Death Race 2000 and Mad Max!
