This here is Mal’s most very favorite gun. Now you can get one of your own. Shiny. This beaut’ may not make you or your gentleman look more like Cap’n Mal, but it couldn’t hurt. Coming in at fourteen inches and weighing over a pound with metal plating, this is a full sized replica that’ll be an essential addition to any Firefly collector’s display. To that end Qmx is also including a black display base with two clear acrylic risers.
How accurate is it? Well, Qmx used a mold of the original stunt pistol used on-screen to make the replica, and it looks pretty solid to me. The weathering looks good, but overall the finish seems to lack the specularity of the original. But you can judge for yourself below:
