Holy Hannah!!! Yesterday’s voting was CRAZY! First, we had more voting yesterday than any day before. Unfortunately, a couple of people tried to stuff the ballot box in favor of their favorite teams. FYI– we’re on to you. And we eliminated all of your extra votes. Sorry you wasted your time.
But here’s how the voting turned out. Wolverine, your healing factor has kept you alive plenty long. . . but no longer as you got OWNED by Captain America with 70% of the vote!!!! America– f@#$ yeah! Take that, Canada!
As for Joss Whedon vs Thor, it came down to one vote. Yes. ONE vote. (Now aren’t you glad I got rid of the spam votes?) But a win is still a win, and that’s what makes a champion– is you figure out how to win even against a tough opponent. So congratulations to Thor.
Or, I’m sorry? Captain America looks unstoppable. From the beginning of this Cap has been the top seed. If you remember waaaaaaay back to where we started, we at the BSR! staff took and rated everyone related to Avengers and X-Men on a scale of 1 to 10 for all of the characters they knew, then asked some of our friends, family, and various transients I found at the bus station to do the same. Based on this we ended up with an average score for each character, and then I also had a total score.
The two top vote-getters? Captain America and Thor. Cap had the highest score of all- a MEDIAN of 9.5. That means that of everyone who voted, more than half voted 10/10. Of everyone who voted for him, he got a total of 130. But while Thor only a median score of 9, his overall voting was 134. These were the top 2 by the numbers, they deserve to be here. . .
