Shortly after the announcement of the Blu-ray at Star Wars Celebration V, I was given a press release with just a couple of more details about the release.  For one, it will be released in the fall of 2011.  Hopes that it would be sooner in the year didn’t pan out.

At the “Main Event” George Lucas commented that he wanted the set to be chock full material we’ve never seen before.

At that point, he brought Mark Hamill out for the reveal of the deleted scene from Return of the Jedi.
