UPDATE: After reaching out to Lucasfilm, Tracy Cannobbio, a spokesperson there confirmed to me that reports of casting are accurate, saying, “Yes –casting has begun.”
It looks like these are, indeed, some of the players in the world of Episode VII. What it means, though… That’s anyone’s guess.
Bleeding Cool, a UK Based website, has “100% confirmed” that they’re in posession of a casting call sheet that belongs to Star Wars: Episode VII.
Unlike the sheet from a couple of weeks ago which was pretty obviously a fake, this one has more reasons to believe it, though I’m still not sold.
Again, this is just a general breakdown of physical characteristics of characters. Bleeding Cool stresses for sure that these are leads, but it all could be a ruse. And bear in mind again that this could be something that was put together just to test leaks in the ship. Bleeding Cool has a fantastic track record though, so I believe someone who could be in the know really did put this into their hands.
Here are the people they’re scouring the UK to find:
Late-teen female, independent, good sense of humour, fit.
Young twenty-something male, witty and smart, fit but not traditionally good looking.
A late twentysomething male, fit, handsome and confident.
Seventy-something male, with strong opinions and tough demeanour. Also doesn’ t need to be particularly fit.
A second young female, also late teens, tough, smart and fit.
Forty something male, fit, military type.
Thirtysomething male, intellectual. Apparently doesn’t need to be fit.
It’s almost so generic that even if it turns out to be false, there’s probably enough overlap to claim victory on at least a few of these.
