Because I like to occassionally light a match and throw it into the drum of gasoline and oil that is people’s opinions on the Star Wars Prequel Trilogy, here is a deleted scene* from Episode I: The Phantom Menace in which Jar Jar Binks dies – preventing his “comedic relief” from continuing on any further.
Merry Early Christmas Binks-Haters:
Clearly two Jedi could have easily force-pulled that craft to safety and/or Jar Jar could have swam to safety considering his species are water-dwelling folks . . .
*Okay, so this isn’t really a deleted scene. It’s a doctored version of a deleted scene done by YouTube user, withmorten. Here’s the original deleted scene:
Of course, Jar Jar survives, and this scene never makes it into the film – rightfully so. There is no real peril here – and why the f%*& is there a violent waterfall in the middle of a damn city?! And judging by the direction in which the came from, did they navigate up the waterfall?!
Just some burning questions we will never know the answers to . . .
