The Hunger Games facebook page recently shared a clip from the highly anticipated sequel to The Hunger Games. With Catching Fire scheduled for release on November 22, the media blitz for the film is now in full swing.
The clip below shows a clearly upset Katniss Everdeen talking to Haymitch Abernathy and Peeta Mellark. She and Peeta are on their victory tour after winning the 74th Hunger Games, but the trip is not going smoothly. Something terrible just happened, and emotions are running high.
She asks her mentor Haymitch to help her get through the trip, but his less-than-encouraging response is, “This trip doesn’t end when you get back home. You never get off this train. You two are mentors now. From now on your job is to be a distraction.”
And, Entertainment Weekly offers another glimpse of the film, from Liam Hemsworth’s appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. The clip is after a brief discussion about Jennifer Lawrence’s behavior on set, and it focuses on Katniss trying to convince her best friend Gale Hawthorne to run away.
Are you excited for the movie yet? I know I am!
