When news broke that Harrison Ford broke is his leg, or his ankle, or damaged his hip, or would be unable to continue filming “Star Wars: Episode VII” all hell broke loose online.
Lots of stress and consternation has been spent over the last couple of weeks by Star Wars fans and pundits, worrying about what this might mean for the release date of the new movie, whether they’ll be able to finish on time, and whether or not Harrison Ford has any business even returning to the role.
But the Daily Mail had photographers creepily stalking Ford and they snapped shots of him walking about in London with the aid of a peg-leg style crutch. Go to their website to see the surprisingly benign photos like this one:
He looks in good spirits and that everything will be just fine. He’s not in the United States, he’s not in a meaningful cast, and he doesn’t look to be all that beaten down by it. The reports of his crippling injuries seem to be greatly exaggerated, which is why we were loathe to report on them in the first place.
And I’m guessing they won’t have to rewrite the script to include a Wampa attack to explain away his injuries.
