AMC is doing a really good job of engaging the online-nerd community during production of their show The Walking Dead, which is beloved for plenty of reasons by a lot of us.
Today, they released the first photo of Andrew Lincoln as Rick Grimes and, while this is only a pretty static publicity still, it looks good. And now we have series creator Robert Kirkman’s word for it, “Writing this book for the past seven years I’ve gotten very close to the character of Rick. Andrew Lincoln embodies every aspect of the character that fans know and love. After seeing this photo I don’t think that there will be a doubt in anyone’s mind that he’s perfect for the role.”
