I spent many hours wandering the floors of Artist Alley during this year’s Salt Lake Comic Con. What I discovered during my time there was that the line-up this year was incredible. I brought from home as many issues as I could carry and began my search for the pencilists, inkers, colorists, and writers I needed signatures from. I followed my favorites on Twitter and Instagram whilst adding many more to the feeds of both social networks. What I noticed when wandering the floor is that Wolverine was very popular. In fact, it’s fair to guess he was the most requested sketch of the convention. That could very well be because of the exclusive Salt Lake Comic Con variant cover to “The Death of Wolverine #1” available at the con.
I’ve included as many of the great sketches as I could find. All of these are originals and one-of-a-kinds that were done for ecstatic fans finally getting a chance to meet the creators of their heroes.
